What the answers mean

The connector never mixes three different things up, and neither should an assistant reading it.

What you see What it means What to do
"Reconnect Freight Right" The connection is gone: disconnected, or the account was deactivated. Reconnect from your assistant's settings.
"Assistant access is turned off for this account" Your administrator switched assistant access off. Or, for a Freight Right administrator, nobody has switched it on yet. The connection is intact. Contact Freight Right. There is no need to reconnect.
"can be read but not booked from this connection" The quote request belongs to another account or organization: reading it is not authority to book it. Ask the account that created it, or a member of its organization, to book it.
"This connection does not include the permission…" The connection was made before this capability existed. Reconnect and approve the updated list.
"Freight Right is temporarily unavailable" A dependency is down. Nothing about your account changed. Try again shortly.
"Freight Right is busy. Wait N seconds" A limit or a capacity bound was reached. Wait the number of seconds given.
"This offer changed since you read it" The price moved between reading and confirming. Price again and prepare a new booking.
"The answer did not reach us" Your booking was sent, and Freight Right is being asked again for the outcome. Read the operation again in a moment. Never prepare it twice.
"The draft changed since the answer you have" The assistant tried to change a request draft from an older reading of it, a retry after a lost answer, or two edits at once. Nothing was applied twice; the answer shows the current state. Continue from it.
"Preview it again" The request changed between the preview you saw and the submission. Nothing was sent. Look at the new preview and say whether to send that version.
"need a Freight Right account, which is free" The connection has no Freight Right account behind it. Sign up on Shipment Manager's sign-up page, connect your assistant to that account, and ask again.
"done on the staff page" A Freight Right administrator's assistant tried to file a request for a customer. Staff file for a customer on the staff page in Shipment Manager; the assistant can still read requests.
"An older Freight Right build answered" During a rollout, an instance that does not serve a shipment's billing, customs, documents or the events feed yet answered the call. Try again in a minute. Nothing is wrong with the connection.
"does not serve … yet (its API says so)" That Freight Right environment has not switched the section on. Ask Freight Right when it will be. Nothing to reconnect.
"Billing is switched off for this Freight Right account" Your administrator hid billing for the account; the Billing tab is hidden in Shipment Manager too. Contact Freight Right.
"need a permission this connection does not hold" Billing or document events were asked for from the events feed without their permission; the rest of the feed still answered. Reconnect and approve the updated list to receive them.

Everything else, an invalid postal code, an unsupported lane, or a cargo that needs a quote request, comes back as Freight Right's own message, in plain words, with the field that was wrong.
